This policy explains how Event Studio ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit our website or engage us for video and photography services. We process personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Dutch law.
Event Studio is the trading name of The Growth Studio, a conference video and photography studio headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, operating across the European events circuit. We rely on legitimate interests (responding to your enquiry and running our business), performance of a contract (delivering work you've engaged us for), and consent (for analytics cookies and for filming identifiable individuals, handled via on-site release where required).
When we film at your event, identifiable individuals may appear on camera. We handle consent and release forms on-site and will only use footage of identifiable people in line with the permissions obtained. If you appear in our footage and want it removed, contact us using the details below.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate – for example, our vetted local crew partners, video hosting (Vimeo), form and email providers – and only as needed to deliver the service. Where these providers process data outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
We keep enquiry and project data for as long as needed to deliver your work and meet legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise it. Master footage is retained per the terms agreed in your project.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@eventstudio.xyz. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
The site uses only essential cookies by default. Any analytics or embedded media (such as Vimeo players) are loaded with privacy settings enabled where available. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
